Dr. Thompson is a burn and trauma surgeon by training. She specializes in the care of the thermally injured patient and other skin and soft tissue diseases that require surgical intervention. Her research is focused on implementing changes to care delivery that improve patient-centered outcomes and engaging burn patients as equitable partners in the entire research process.
