Scaife, MD clinical interests include all aspects of Pediatric Surgery including common issues such as: inguinal hernia umbilical hernia hydrocele undescended testicle Cholecystectomy (removal of the gallbladder) G Tubes (placement of a stomach tube) Vascular access (ports and central lines) Ulcerative colitis inflammatory bowel disease (Crohns disease and ulcerative colitis) gastroesophageal reflux disease appendectomy (removal of the appendix) chest wall deformities (pectus excavatum and pectus carinatum) pediatric endocrine surgery (thyroid and adrenal tumors/pancreas surgery) Dr. Scaife has a special interest in pediatric trauma and pediatric oncology (Wilms’ tumor, neuroblastoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, liver tumors and neuro-endocrine tumors)
