Benjamin R. White

Description

Dr. White received his medical degree from the Loyola Stritch School of Medicine and completed his Pediatric residency and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine fellowship at the University of Utah/Primary Children´s Hospital. He served as faculty at the Penn State Children’s Hospital following graduation from fellowship before returning to University of Utah and Primary Children’s. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Critical Care and provides clinical care in the Pediatric ICUs at Primary Children’s Hospital and Utah Valley Hospital. Dr. White is board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. Dr. White’s clinical interests center on respiratory failure in children, especially on those with severe disease requiring mechanical ventilation. His current research focuses on investigating Pediatric Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome and he is an active participant in the PALISI research network.
