John R. Stringham

JOHN STRINGHAM, MD, is originally from Nashville, Tennessee. He earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He completed a general surgery residency at the University of Colorado which included time working at the Trauma Research Center. He then completed a thoracic surgery fellowship at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. Dr. Stringham"s clinical interests include all aspects of benign and malignant pathology of the lung, mediastinum and esophagus. He has a specific interest in lung transplant surgery. He also has interest in disorders of the airway and chest wall including tumor resection and reconstruction. Research interests include technological innovations in thoracic surgery, and patient outcomes after thoracic surgery utilizing population-based data.
