Joshua Labrin

Description

Joshua LaBrin, MD, FACP, SFHM, is an Associate Professor in Medicine at the University of Utah. As an academic hospitalist, his clinical interests encompass hospital medicine, including general inpatient care of medically complex adult patients and consultative medicine. He is actively involved in the clinical education of students and residents on the teaching services at the University of Utah Hospital. Dr. LaBrin received his Doctorate of Medicine from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency and chief residency in 2007 in the combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics program at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He then went to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and completed a fellowship in Hospital Medicine in 2009. Dr. LaBrin previously served as an academic hospitalist at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He is currently a Fellow in the American College of Physicians (ACP), and a Senior Fellow in the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM).
