Jessica N. Cohan

Description

Dr. Jessica Cohan is a fellowship trained colon and rectal surgeon who specializes in intestinal and anal surgery. Her clinical practice includes the treatment of cancers of the small bowel, colon, and rectum, as well as inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulitis, fistulas, and many other diseases of the digestive tract and anal area. She is trained in minimally invasive techniques as well as complex and revisional surgery. Following medical school at Cornell, Dr. Cohan completed her General Surgery training at the University of California San Francisco. She completed a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Massachusetts and is currently an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Utah. She treats patients at the University Hospital and the Huntsman Cancer Institute. Outside of work, Dr. Cohan enjoys exploring the beautiful state of Utah with her husband and daughter.
