Jessica B. Johnson, MD, specializes in ulcerative colitis and Crohn"s disease. Her clinical interests and expertise are in inflammatory diseases of the intestinal tract that include inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis and Crohn"s disease) , transition in care from the pediatric to adult setting in patients with inflammatory bowel disease, treating inflammatory bowel disease in older patients, small bowel diseases, and women"s issues in gastroenterology. Dr. Johnson received her MD degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. She completed Internal Medicine Residency training at the University of Utah and spent an additional year as Chief Medical Resident. She then completed fellowship training in gastroenterology with subspecialty training in inflammatory bowel diseases at the University of Utah where she also served as Chief Fellow.Dr. Johnson is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the Crohn"s and Colitis Foundation of America.
