David J Petron MD is an Associate Professor(clinical) in the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Utah where he serves as the Aline Skaggs Presidential Endowed Chair. He is a primary care orthopaedic/sports medicine specialist. He originally trained in family medicine and then completed a fellowship in nonoperative orthopaedics and sports medicine at Michigan State University.
